The Month of August hold lots of music releases from DistroPlug and Bunna Empire, with Prontoszn releasing his first ever body of work which is a 4 track Extended Play titled 14-06-19. 14-06-19 is the title of the The EP from the Zippy young Nigerian artist which is the date he lost his mum who inspired him to carry on with his music dream and he has honored her by naming his debut project on the day he lost her. The 4 track project holds multiple genre of music from Afrobeats, Alternative and Hiphop as the young Nigerian artist who believe so much in his art feels he should be among the best in the country for his age, without much Ado you can check 14-06-19 on all your favorite music stores. Same date when Prontoszn dropped his Project Canadian based Nigerian artist Kwado also released his debut Album Kwaelude, a 10 track amazing body of work, Kwado is another young Nigerian artist who hails from the Oil rich state of Port Harcourt, currently based in Ontario Canada, Kwaelude definitely translate the talent of this young act and definitely one to look out for. August 1st saw the release of another debut project titled Master Groove from yet another talented young artist and producer BADYOUTH. BADYOUTH which stands for Being A Different Youth dropped his debut Master Groove an 8 track EP which features an eclectic mix of of Afrobeat, Afro fusion, alternative and hiphop which influences the sound of BADYOUTH with the young act soulful voice shining over production from VT and CIQ. Master Groove is available everywhere for streaming worldwide. August also saw the release of Pandemic from the Bunna Empire Rockstar Izzik.
Izzik sets out to prove that he is among the future of African music industry, as he serves his second project of the year titled Pandemic. With the current corona-virus pandemic halting the world’s activities, Izzik named this mini EP Pandemic just to highlight the power he plans to hold in the music industry in years to come. Another project released in the month of August is the Chaase Life EP from Nigerian alternative hip-hop artist Chaase who is based in the capital of Ghana. The EP basically describes the daily life of the artist as he puts his heart and soul on his debut project which is available on all music stores. Talented producer and artist Dex Mula dished out his debut project Steady Schemin a project where the producer pours his heart and soul into production and delivery to showcase his talent to the general Public. Steady Schemin is also available for streaming worldwide
The Month if August also features lots of single releases from artist who are not afraid to break boundaries, talented Ghanaian Modern Dancehall, Afrobeat and Trap artist Shabani released two singles with Odo Yewu for the ladies and Nah Beg Fren a modern dance-hall tune featuring fast rising dance-hall act Larruso with both single available everywhere for streaming another dance-hall artist Tali released his single Gemini featuring various talented young artist alike. Acts like DD Mayhem, Faise and Montaru all released their debut singles ever. Hbee also released his uptempo Afrobeat tune Totori which is currently topping playlist charts across multiple stores
